Description

Season 1 - Episode 14

A recently colonized planet in Federation space sends out a distress call. They have a disease spreading among the population, and transporter filters are not working to isolate it. This is a most unusual occurrence, since planets selected for colonization are tested for threats such as this. The Atalanta must proceed to the planet and assist the colonists. The top priority is to stop the disease from spreading and find a cure. But upon arrival there's more than meets the eye. After some pressure, colony officials confess to knowing more about the disease than they are telling. Some scientists had been studying an indigenous virus, and some of the tests created a mutation. An accident released the virus outside the laboratory and several colonists were infected. However they only appear to be carriers, the virus causes no symptoms. That is unless they die, after a few days one of the infected people was killed in a freak accident, and a few hours later the corpse began to have muscle spams. Doctor Molina struggles to find a cure for the zombie-like plague, while clashing with Starfleet regulations and Captain Chen's judgement of the situation.

Notes: The sickbay is actually a Voyager model, but I think it's safe to assume the Atalanta refits included changes to the classic Galaxy class layout. There is an EMH mark five also, but it is seldom used.

The overall image is good, the set looks good, and the characters look very realistic.
My only suggestion is for the clothing: it looks a little too bright. Have you tried adding a little "weave" shader to give it a little more detailing.
