Becca: -There are no footsteps or tracks of any sort. How long has it been since anyone came through here ?
Johnson: -The storm should have erased any tracks, right ?
Becca: -Maybe... but close to the main gate there should be some marks if they use heavy vehicles, and I don't see anything.
Satou: -This is giving me the chills, both literally and figuratively. Could we just move on please ?
Ripley: -Noriko's right. Let's move on people. We'll get answers soon enough (I hope...).

Next: Nova Outpost: Insertion

Notes: From right to left, it's Sergeant Becca Jorden, Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, Private Samuel Johnson and Private Noriko Satou.
For perspective, there are single human sized doors behind the railings on each side, below the ventilation shafts.
I decided not to include aliens logos here as well. I really like how the image came out, although the snow texture had to be tiled. I tried to randomize the snow texture with post work but I did not want to ruin the crispness it had, so it didn't do much.
Spoiler: My character Beatrix the cyborg will cross paths with Ripley's team on this place. Her mission takes her to Nova outpost too . You can check her out here [link]
Credits: Aliens, Ripley, Newt and all things related are copyright of 20th Century Fox bla bla bla. I do not profit from these renders bla bla bla.
I thought you might not get it but that was just a teensy inside joke as follows:
In the original Alien movie by Ridley Scott, they couldn't afford(or something like that)to create a full-size set that would properly accomadate the adult actors; so Ridley Scott had the ingenius but simple idea to use children in space suits to shoot the scene where they go out on the planet's surface! He even overcranked the set(or something)so they would look like big lumbering adults during the docking scene!
It's always weird when the entire team runs around in battle suits that make them look the same. Gives kind of an alienating effect. And with this frozen landscape, the whole set up is quite chilling so far. I think you're capturing the unsettling atmosphere in Alien stories quite well so far. Can't wait to see where this is going!
And, Beatrix is going to turn up? Awesome--so their stories do take place in the same universe.
